Professor Park teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in nursing ethics, nursing management, and nursing humanities. In particular, she has developed, taught, and coordinated the "OMNIBUS curriculum," Humanities Specialization Curriculum at the College of Nursing, the Catholic University of Korea. She is dedicated to cultivating ethical leaders with compassion, embodying the spirituality of the "Good Samaritan" as envisioned by the Catholic University of Korea. Her goal is to nurture individuals who reflect the university's ideal of becoming ethical leaders with a deep sense of compassion.

Her research focuses on supporting ethical decision-making at the end of life. She is currently conducting research to develop and implement a nurse-led advance care planning program, "Hanoljigy." Recently, she has been working on developing an AI-driven simulation program to enhance the competencies of nurses as facilitators of advance care planning.

Dr. Hyang Yuol Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing Systems, College of Nursing, The Catholic University of Korea. She earned a BSN and an MSN from Seoul National University and a PhD in Nursing from the Health Policy Program at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Nursing. She completed postdoctoral training at the UCSF School of Nursing from February 2010 to June 2011.

Her previous appointments include Principal Researcher at the National Evidence-based Healthcare Collaborating Agency (September 2011–February 2013); Head of the Clinical Practice Guideline Support Team at the National Strategic Coordinating Center for Clinical Research (October 2011–April 2012); Assistant Professor at Eulji University College of Nursing (March 2013–February 2015); Visiting Researcher at the Research Institute of Nursing Science, Seoul National University (March 2015–August 2019); and Senior Researcher at the Policy Research and Planning Center, Institute for Medical Policy, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital (October 2016–August 2019).

Her research bridges community health nursing, health policy, and data science. Her major areas include community-based integrated care, nursing workforce and healthcare delivery policy, quality of long-term care and home healthcare, telenursing and digital health, and AI- and big-data-enabled decision support. She develops nurse-led approaches that connect clinical data with community resources to improve chronic disease prevention, early detection, recovery, healthy aging, and health equity.

From March 2021 to February 2026, she led the five-year Mid-Career Research Program funded by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Research Foundation of Korea, “Development and Effectiveness Evaluation of an Artificial Intelligence-Based Cardiac Resilience Enhancement Program for Patients with Coronary Artery Disease.” Her current work extends this foundation to community-based coronary artery disease prevention and management, explainable AI for clinical and nursing decision support, integrated care and nursing workforce policy, and prediction of long-term care quality and outcomes.
